This pivotal role ensures robust, scalable solutions that support our strategic and operational goals. It can be based in either our Christchurch (Hornby) or Hokitika office.As a senior leader, you will bridge business teams and digital experts to ensure technology aligns with business needs and supports daily operations. If you’re ready to drive impactful digital transformation and optimize systems in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities IncludeLead the development and management of key systems, including Oracle EBS ERP, Warehouse Management System, Laboratory Information Systems, and Microsoft Power Automate (low/no-code).Ensure system development is high-quality, standardized, efficient, and fully traceable.Continuously improve development processes.Contribute hands-on to technical development and be proficient in at least one core system.Foster a culture of code quality, defect reduction, effective testing, and agile practices.Ensure compliance with global responsibilities, quality procedures, and relevant regulations.Skills And ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have proven experience in software development, including the management of Software development within medium to large organizations. They will hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong technical development expertise in ERP, WMS, or related system development is essential. The role requires proven experience leading small, high-performing teams, with a hands-on approach (development) focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
