Your daily work will include monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining both hardware and software, as well as supporting end-users with configuration, installation, and issue resolution. You’ll also handle network-related tasks, such as basic patching and connectivity troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Firewall/VLAN configuration).You’ll be working onsite 2–3 days per week at the client’s Stockholm office, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a reliable and secure IT environment.Please note that we’re looking for a Freelancer / B2B consultant for this role.This is youYou’re an experienced IT professional with a solid background in technical support or helpdesk environments. You enjoy solving problems and take pride in helping others overcome technical challenges. You are detail-oriented, self-driven, and can easily adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining high-quality work.You’re fluent in English (spoken and written), and knowledge of Swedish is considered a plus.This is your roleExperience in Windows and Linux system support and maintenanceBase knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and O365Basic understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP, Firewall/VLAN configuration, NAT, load balancing, encryption, and network security best practicesFamiliarity with Internet network concepts, protocols, and services (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SCP, DNS)Experience using monitoring toolsStrong troubleshooting skills in multi-user environmentsAbility to prioritize, multitask, and work both independently and collaborativelySound judgment with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisionsWhat awaits you at Avenga?At Avenga, everyone matters.
