IT Technical Support Engineer

We are searching for IT Technical Support Engineer to join our local team of IT professionals, delivering end user services for Saab Finland, in align with Saab Group IT processes, policies and methods.Your roleYour main tasks will coverProvide support for our PC users where remote service from the 1st level is not sufficientInstall and deliver PC’s, mobile phones and other client-related IT hardwareSupport our R&D and Production in specific, separately agreed tasksSupport printers and conference room equipmentKeep local business stakeholders and end users updated on client-related changes and issuesYou will be a member of our small IT team, and a colleague to our onsite support. You report to IT Manager but have also a close contact to central delivery teams. Your team is located in Tampere downtown, but occasional travel to other sites of Saab Finland will be required.In this role daily duties require presence at the office with some exceptions to work from home.Your profileTo succeed in this role requires business-oriented approach to solve various kinds of IT service requests, in environment where conditions and priorities can change in short notice, and take responsibility of promises given.We expect you can prioritize your daily tasks independently, but there is also the team to support you. You can be in the beginning of your career, or more seasoned specialist.In addition to aboveYou have relevant technical experienceYou are fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and writtenYou are solution driven but also understand the importance of good governance Experience in network and server administration is not mandatory but regarded as a plus.If the description above sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!In this job, some of your tasks have a connection to defense secrecy.
