About The JobWe are seeking two highly skilled and experienced 793D CAT Truck Operators for an open castmining project in the DRC. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years’ experiencein open cast mining operations and be capable of operating CAT 793D haul trucks efficientlyand safely in challenging environments. ResponsibilitiesOperate CAT 793D haul trucks for the transportation of ore and waste in an open pitmining environment. Conduct thorough pre-operation checks and report any faults or maintenance needs. Adhere strictly to safety and operational procedures as per site standards.
Maintain high levels of productivity while ensuring safe operation at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate haulcycles. Assist with minor troubleshooting and support maintenance teams when necessary. Record and report operational data as required by supervisors. Requirements South African citizenship (non-negotiable). Minimum of 10 years’ experience in open cast mining. Proven operational experience specifically on CAT 793D haul trucks. Valid driver’s license and certified to operate heavy mining equipment. Medically fit to work in remote locations and under a rotational schedule. Strong understanding of safety protocols and mining best practices. Employment Conditions:
