Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Company Accountant, located in Banbridge Co Down. The Company Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing monthly management accounts, yearly financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations throughout multiple European countries. Daily tasks include bookkeeping, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing tax returns, and managing budgets. Additionally, the Company Accountant will assist with pricing calculations, and analyse financial data to inform company decisions and support audit processes.
QualificationsProficiency in bookkeeping ( ideally SAGE 50) and handling accounts payable and receivableExperience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and tax returnsStrong analytical skills to review financial data and inform decisionsKnowledge of financial regulations in Ireland and UK, and compliance standardsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reportingStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredPart Qualified or Qualified Accountant with relevant Construction sector experienceThis is an excellent opportunity to grow in a newly founded company, expanding into EU markets and learning relevant EU tax, social security laws and labour law regulations.
