Job Title: Pre-Litigation AttorneyType of Position: Full TimeLocation: Usually, M-F 9-5 pm and flexible; however, attorney must also be flexible. The position will require traveling and driving to locations and may require being available outside of business hours and on some weekends, depending on investigation and as needed to meet and speak with clientsPay: $100K/year – $160/yearJob Description: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Work within a dynamic and fast paced environmentPay strong attention to details in drafting court documentsCompile all possible information, evidence and documentation, including medical records and bills, loss of earnings documentation and change in lifestyle information, that will help the legal department build a caseNegotiate claimsFollow up with clientsAppear in front of a judge for hearingsReview and evaluate liability and insurance availability for cases in pre-litigationBuild client relationships and communicate with clients and family members during pre-litigationConduct investigations – collect and analyze evidence in order to determine all potential claims and liability, potential defendants, and insurance coveragesConduct legal researchInvestigate facts of loss and research application of case lawAnalyze, manage, and review evidence to assess liability and determine case planDraft government claim forms and demand lettersCommunicate with adjusters; draft correspondence as neededRequirements:

Licensed attorney in CaliforniaComfortable meeting with clients/potential clients both on-site and off-siteComfortable with travelling and open to flexible hours as necessaryComfortable with meeting/discussing cases with expertsCreative and flexibleWork well with others and have strong communication skillsWork well under pressureCommunicate well in writing with attention to detailWhat We Offer:
