Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our international finance team.

The ideal candidate will be an Indian national with a strong background in accounting and finance, fluent in both French and English, and willing to relocate to Lomé, Togo to support our entities operating across West African countries. QualificationsMinimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in multinational or multi-entity environments. Fluency in French (both spoken and written) is mandatory. Strong command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in SAP and Tally accounting software. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and international financial regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Prior experience working in Africa or with African entities is a plus. Fluency in English and French is a must. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations for West African entities, ensuring compliance with local and international standards. Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and budgets. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities. Liaise with auditors and local regulatory authorities for audits and compliance matters. Reconcile financial accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Maintain and enhance accounting systems, leveraging SAP and Tally for accurate reporting and recordkeeping.

Support the implementation of robust accounting policies, processes, and internal controls. Work closely with cross-functional teams and headquarters to support financial planning and business operations. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, promoting financial best practices. Additional informationRelocation support will be provided.
