Java Backend Developer

Must Have Skills:Proven hands-on experience in API Development using Java Spring Boot.Strong expertise in Java programming, Spring Framework, and RESTful API design.Good understanding of Microservices architecture, including design, deployment, security, performance, and integration patterns.Proficiency in Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, and code quality/testing tools like JUnit, SonarQube, and Test Automation frameworks.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for both client and server-side components.Solid experience with databases, Hibernate/JPA, and ability to write complex SQL queries.Nice to Have Skills:Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java Spring Boot.Ensure high performance, scalability, and security in API solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration activities.Troubleshoot issues across application and database layers.Mentor junior developers and contribute to best coding practices within the team.Experience Required:5–8 years of relevant experience in Java backend development.
