Job Description
Do you have 5+ years of experience as a Java developer? We are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Brussels, hybrid.Requirements:5+ years of demonstrable experience as a Java DeveloperStrong, hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.Proficiency in Apache Kafka for event streaming and a deep understanding of asynchronous integration patterns and event-driven systems.Expert knowledge of designing, implementing, and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.Familiarity and practical experience with PostgreSQL.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices.Experience with Kubernetes and AWS services (specifically EKS, SQS, S3) is a strong advantage.Must be based in Belgium and willing to work on-site 2 days per week.Language(s): English(fluent), French or Dutch (fluent)Job description:Develop and maintain highly scalable, robust Java-based domain services.Design and implement high-performance REST and SOAP APIs to enable secure and reliable internal and external integrations.Work extensively with Apache Kafka to implement and maintain asynchronous, event-driven integration patterns.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, reusable, and strategically aligned services.Uphold and enforce clean coding standards to ensure high quality, optimal performance, and long-term maintainability of the codebase.
