Job Description

Qualifications & ExperienceBCom Honours or similar degree is a mustMust be computer literate with Excel skills on an Advanced level and able to model data for ease of analysis and interpretationExperience with working (input and output) with ERP/accounting systems and consolidation reporting applicationsMust have at least 3-5 years of proven experience in finance management, accounting, statutory/consolidation reporting and be ready to take the next step in further career growthTechnically a sound professional in Finances and ControlMust be proficient in English and Portuguese (written and oral)Previous experience in a multinational organisation would be advantageous Roles and ResponsibilitiesFirst contact of support in all aspects of Finances & Control within the subsidiaryPreparation of periodic (weekly, monthly and quarterly) financial reports (i.

month-end, cash forecasts)Managing full financial accounting function and pro-actively participate in periodic reporting both for statutory purposes as well as for consolidation purposesAnalyzing and interpreting financial data and translating this into easy language for stakeholdersProviding commercially sound financial analysis to support key business decisions for ad hoc projects, including cost-effectiveness, commercial viability, operational capability and financial audit/ controlsEvaluate financial information to assess the company's strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies to reduce waste and decrease costs, and implement strategies to improve financial stabilityCollaborate with sales and regional teams to customize deal structures to meet customers' specific requirements, develop new business models to capture new business opportunitiesIdentify, implement, and monitor internal controls, and ensure the effective implementation of corrective actions.
