Job Description

Position SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Corporate Controller to lead general accounting operations across our corporate and plant environments. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the monthly close process, driving financial accuracy, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in manufacturing or distribution environments, excels in dynamic, fast-paced settings, and thrives in both strategic and tactical roles. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with US GAAPOversee and guide daily operations of general ledger accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and other key functionsProvide leadership and oversight to the accounting team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environmentCoordinate internal and external financial reporting, including support for quarterly reviews, annual audits, and compliance requirementsEvaluate and enhance internal controls over financial reporting; identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systemsMaintain fixed asset records and manage annual property and use tax filingsOversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with related regulatory requirementsPartner with FP&A during the annual budgeting process and analyze actual results versus the budgetSupport ad hoc projects including ERP enhancements, process automation, and business integration initiativesActively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and accountability through mentorship, performance management, and the development of team membersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferredMinimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience, including within manufacturing and/or distribution industriesExperience working in private sector organizations with revenues of $500M+Strong understanding of US GAAP and multi-plant operational environmentsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levelsProficient in ERP systems (e.

g. , SAP, Oracle, or similar), expense management tools, and AP automation solutionsHighly organized with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environmentProven ability to be a hands-on contributor and effective team leaderMotivated, team-oriented, and driven by execution and results
