Your next opportunity to takeoffAs a Storeperson, you’ll play a key role in supporting Jetstar’s Line Engineering facility at the Airport by ensuring the safe handling, storage, and movement of aeronautical products and tooling, while maintaining full regulatory compliance — including the management of dangerous goods. You’ll be integral to maintaining stock integrity and ensuring compliance across aeronautical parts, tooling, and general inventory. You’ll also provide broader support to Jetstar Engineering across the maintenance network as required.
We’re looking for a motivated team player who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, and thrives in a compliance-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Will IncludeActive involvement in Safety, initiating observations and understanding the Jetstar Safety Management SystemCommunicate Safety related issues clearly and appropriatelyPerforming daily functions in a safe manner whilst adhering to company policies and proceduresAssist the Engineering department in maintaining compliance and control with Parts/tooling in the Jetstar networkResponsible for the inspection of incoming aeronautical products, tooling and commercial items in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, standards, specifications, and Jetstar processes.
Ensure entry of data into Jetstar Engineering inventory system in a timely manner whilst following company proceduresIdentifies and separates non-compliant items for further dispositionIssue, receipt and return of parts and tooling to customersOperating the Aeronautical product & tool store and associated stores husbandry tasksDispatching and receiving goods, including loading/unloading of assets and compliance to National heavy goods regulationsProvide support to other parts of the AMO & Supply chain as well as other Jetstar Group companiesProviding Supply chain assistance to external and internal customers as required.
