You'll play a key role in providing critical and timely intelligence to the Commander, USFK, Combined Forces Command, and their associated staffs and commanders.The JIOC-K's mission focuses on identifying enemy threats, overseeing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities, and dissecting enemy actions to anticipate their likely strategies. This analytical work is essential for enhancing Defense Intelligence, ensuring that accurate, timely, and comprehensive all-source intelligence reaches the Commander and other users. You'll also contribute to transforming theater intelligence operations, leveraging global intelligence capabilities to protect U.S. personnel and interests in the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO). Come grow with us!What You Will DoIntegrates with US Army, USAF, USN, and ROK airborne collection assets in an underresourced environment to optimize collection planning against ROK JCS, USFK/CFC/UNC, USINDOPACOM, and National priority intelligence requirementsSatisfies timely Indications and Warning collection against National, INDOPACOM and USFK/CFC priorities through coordination and integration with PACOM J2/J3 staff, 5x USFK Component staffs, and five Combat Support Agencies (NSA, NGA, NRO, DIA, CIA)Contributes to Joint/Combined/MultiNational Concepts of Operations and Standard Operating Procedures for Sensitive Reconnaissance Operations (SRO) missions and ROK/JCS- owned JSR missions operating in the Korean Theater of OperationsIntegrates and schedules US sensor and platforms capabilities with ROK USFK/KDIC/JCS staffs to ensure Phase Of Armistice requirements in support of OPLANs and CONPLANs are accomplishedAnalyzes Joint/Multi-National intelligence collection results and updates to CJCS SRO book on a monthly basis, advising the Chairman on employment of airborne assets, capability shortfalls, and assessment of risk to the Combined ROK-US forceEnsures unified command and control of ISR assets by authoring updates to Joint Publications, USINDOPACOM and USFK theater OPLANs, Rules of Engagement, and theater Operations/Task OrdersPerforms synchronized armistice/steady state ISR collection execution planning with ROK and US assets to formulate a single, combined collection CONOP and supporting Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) architectureManages production and dissemination of daily ISR products to internal and external stakeholdersProvides recommendations and advice to ISR assessments based on recurring collection executionSupports, as necessary, Collection Operations Management during combined exercises, optimizing joint/combined collection management and validating the ISR strategy in OPLANs/CONPLANsAdditional duties as assigned or required What We Are Looking For0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experiencePosition may require shift work on 24/7/365 team; must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidaysClearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a Poly Bonus points for...Bachelors with 3 years of experience, or High School Diploma with 7 years of experience Recent applicable experience within the last 2 yearsExperience working in a coalition environmentFamiliarity with the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) Korea experiencePhysical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
