Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics & Stock Control Officer to oversee inventory management, support procurement processes, and coordinate import logistics. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of stock control systems, bonded warehouse operations, and clearance procedures. The role requires exceptional Excel and reporting skills and the ability to perform under pressure. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor stock levels, reorder points, and stock movementConduct monthly and quarterly stock reconciliations and report variancesEnsure accurate and timely stock reporting to managementCoordinate incoming shipments, liaise with clearing agents, and follow up on documentationManage bonded warehouse entries, stock releases, and compliance with customs regulationsSupport procurement team in verifying delivery timelines and quality of goodsMaintain and update stock control systems (Excel-based or ERP where applicable)Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation of all stock itemsCollaborate with finance and operations on stock valuation and physical countsIdentify and implement process improvements to minimize stock discrepanciesCandidate Profile:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, inventory control, or warehouse managementBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of clearing processes and bonded warehousing proceduresProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting tools)Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and meet tight deadlinesDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skillsExperience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus
