Headquartered in Ieper, Belgium, Psicontrol employs more than 500 people worldwide and is part of Picanol Group, a division of Tessenderlo Group.As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will:Lead the design and architecture of electronic control systems for motor drives, including inverter topologies, gate drivers, and feedback systems.Translate system-level requirements into robust electronics designs, integrating power electronics, embedded control, communication interfaces, and mechanical constraints.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Test, Production, Logistics, Service) and external partners to ensure seamless integration and performance.Evaluate and select components with a focus on efficiency, reliability, EMC compliance, and long-term availability.Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies such as SiC/GaN devices, sensorless control techniques, and advanced modulation strategies.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in design methodologies, simulation tools, and validation processes.
