Logistics Coordinator

Role OverviewOur client is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator with solid experience in handling both freezone and mainland logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with government procedures, customs documentation, and cross-border coordination. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate local and international shipments (air, sea, and land) for import/exportLiaise with customs, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery of goodsHandle all documentation related to freezone and mainland clearances, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, etc.

Apply for and follow up on government approvals such as customs clearance, municipality permits, and trade-related authorizationsTrack shipments, update internal teams and customers with delivery timelinesMaintain records of inventory movement, shipment files, and regulatory documentationWork with internal teams (sales, service, accounts) to ensure smooth order executionStay updated on UAE trade regulations, freezone guidelines, and customs processesCandidate Profile1-3 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in the UAEGood knowledge of UAE logistics procedures, especially within freezones and mainland operationsFamiliarity with Dubai Customs, import/export procedures, and trade regulationsStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to handle multiple shipments and documentation with accuracy Proficient in MS Office and basic ERP/inventory systemsOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
