They are currently seeking data scientists to join their leading-edge research and engineering group, focusing on designing and implementing machine learning solutions for complex national problems. Responsibilities: • Design and develop advanced statistical and machine learning models utilizing state-of-the-art methods. • Implement advanced statistical concepts, algorithms and techniques to extract, consolidate and analyze unstructured, classified “big data” sources to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with other applied scientists, engineers, researchers & program managers to architect and implement machine learned solutions to novel problems. • Engage in continuous learning and development, staying current with the latest advances in AI/ML and data science to ensure fit-for-purpose and impactful approaches. Qualifications: Required:
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant experience• Proficient in modern data exploration techniques and tools• Experience developing and implementing machine learned solutions• Familiarization with modern AI/ML algorithms and libraries• Fluency in C/C++, Python or Matlab• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, principles and practices• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Required on-site full-time work in San Diego, CA• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain US Government Top Secret security clearancePreferred:
