You’ll be part of a dynamic newsroom committed to breaking exclusive stories that matter to Victorians and Australians alike. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering the chance to work on high-impact journalism that holds power to account and reflects the diversity of our communities.The Job Break exclusive stories using a wide network of contacts, trusted sources, research, and data techniques. Write and produce compelling, accurate, and innovative content for ABC News platforms.Collaborate with newsroom leaders and colleagues to deliver stories that resonate with diverse audiences.Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of editorial excellence. Engage with communities, particularly in outer suburbs, to uncover underreported stories. Work closely with ABC Legal and editorial leaders to manage risk and uphold ABC standards.
