Junior Analyst, Finance & Administration Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Industry: Financial Services / Investor Protection Type: Full-Time, Permanent Work Hours: 35-hour work week (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)A respected national organization in the financial services sector is seeking a Junior Analyst, Finance & Administration to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow in both finance and human resources functions. The role offers broad exposure across Finance, HR, and Office Administration and supports a collaborative leadership team.Key Responsibilities: Finance & Accounting • Process accounts payable, expense claims, EFTs, and wire payments • Reconcile VISA statements and maintain vendor records • Assist with financial reporting, month-end close, and audit preparation • Track budget variances and support financial analysis • Maintain internal controls and financial security standardsProcurement & Compliance • Research alternate service providers to ensure cost efficiency • Prepare compliance reports under Procurement Guidelines • Track procurement exceptions and maintain the contracts databaseHuman Resources Support • Maintain the employee handbook and track documentation • Assist with job descriptions, onboarding materials, and staff development support • Administer training programs through Citation Canada • Contribute to culture and engagement initiativesOffice & Administrative Support • Liaise with building management, suppliers, and contractors • Assist with staff meeting materials, scheduling, and general office coordination • Prepare and proofread internal documents and presentationsQualifications: • University degree with coursework in Accounting • Experience or training in HR is an asset • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize • Professional communication skills—both written and verbal • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small teamWho You Are: You are reliable, proactive, and take ownership of your work.
