Jr. DevOps Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their DevOps career, with a basic understanding of DevOps concepts and a strong willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on, enterprise environment.Note: This position focuses on on-premise infrastructure (not cloud-native). Key Responsibilities• Assist in managing and monitoring on-premise Kubernetes platforms (e.g., OpenShift or Rancher).• Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.• Write and troubleshoot basic automation scripts in Bash or Python.• Help maintain and update Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.• Participate in team activities including documentation, ticket handling, and routine infrastructure tasks.• Learn and apply GitOps principles using tools like ArgoCD.• Collaborate with internal teams using Jira and maintain technical notes in Confluence. What We’re Looking For• Basic knowledge of Linux system administration (RHEL preferred).• Understanding of Kubernetes or container orchestration concepts (hands-on experience is a plus).• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitLab or similar platforms.• Willingness to learn automation scripting using Python and Bash.• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and eagerness to learn.
