We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Junior Financial Advisor to join our team at IFG. As a Junior Financial Advisor, you will work closely with Senior Advisors to provide financial guidance to clients, assist in developing personalized financial plans, and support the execution of investment strategies. Job Duties Assist Senior Financial Advisors in preparing and presenting financial plans tailored to client needs. Support the execution of investment strategies by researching and recommending financial products (e. g.
, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, insurance). Maintain client relationships by addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service. Prepare and review financial reports, market updates, and investment performance analysis. Help clients with portfolio management and asset allocation in line with their financial goals. Attend client meetings, take detailed notes and ensure follow-up actions are completed. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new financial products to ensure the highest level of service and compliance. Help manage and organize client data and records in compliance with company policies and regulations. Assist with new client acquisition through referrals, networking, and prospecting.
Participate in ongoing training and development to expand financial expertise and product knowledge. Qualifications Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple and clear manner. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Client-focused with a high degree of professionalism and ethical standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
0-2 years of experience in financial services, banking, or related fields. Knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends. Previous experience working at a broker-dealer, wealth management, or financial advisory firm. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Series 6 or 7 license (or ability to obtain within a specified time frame). Series 65 or 63 license (or ability to obtain within a specified time frame). CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or working towards certification is a plus.
