Jr. Platform Engineers

What you’ll do: Provide specialty support for configuration management systems, and cloud enabled solutions. Automate capabilities into the overall platform Ensure service uptimes, response times, and other KPIs are met Assist in designing and delivering resilient systems and configurations Document systems, processes, incidents, and changes Assist business partners with technical initiatives Support and drive cloud initiatives May be required to carry a duty pager and provide off-hours support What experience you need: BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required 1-3 years of experience working on Automation capabilities in cloud platforms GCP , AWS or Azure using programming languages or scripting such as Python, Ruby, Powershell, YAML, JSON, Shell Scripting 1-3 years of experience with databases such as Postgres or firebase 1-3 years experience working with AWS/GCP or any public cloud platforms 1+ years experience with modern software development life cycles including CI/CD preferably Jenkins and Github 1-3 years working on development and/or administrative support of infrastructure OS such as Linux & Windows (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu & Windows) What could set you apart: Familiar with configuration management toolsets (CHEF, Ansible, Puppet) Knowledge of source code management, continuous integration/continuous delivery solutions (Github, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins)
