In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.Responsibilities: Analyses and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operationsConducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methodsMay assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilitiesRequires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experienceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering2+ years of relevant experience Experience with agile, lean manufacturing concepts and transformationsExperience in cost analysisProject management and analytical problem-solving skillsKnowledge in conducting time studies and applying line balancing techniques to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.Knowledge in CAD layouts to support space utilization, product segregation and the analysis and optimization of material flow.Knowledge in Flow Acceleration ProgramContinuous improvement mindsetFully bilingual (English/Spanish)Available for 1st shift (40 hours per week)
