EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent DEPARTMENT: FinanceDIVISION: GroupWORKPLACE STRUCTURE: HybridRole Overview PURPOSE OF JOB Join the current Project Team in delivering projects designed to enhance the quality and timeliness of the department’s key deliverables, help strengthen the internal control environment and mitigate the risk of error. Main Responsibilities And Duties Assist in developing and maintaining a strong internal control environment as the department grows and external regulations are introduced. Assist in providing training sessions to finance team members. Oversee the documentation and publishing of the departments policies and procedures. Assist in delivery of ad-hoc projects within the department.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders. Assist in the coordination of internal resources and third parties/experts (as required) for the execution of projects. Perform risk management to minimize potential risks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures. Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours. Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management. Essential Requirements Newly qualified or working towards a professional accountancy qualification. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
