Join us and help shape the future!Job Summary: The Parts and Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the service department. This position involves coordinating and overseeing various tasks related to field service & parts inventory management, internal & customer service, and coordination of field service visits.

The Parts and Service Coordinator acts as a liaison between Service Operations Coordinators, Field Service Technicians, Project Management, Warehouse Team & Production to ensure timely and accurate completion of all field service. From managing field technician schedules to maintaining parts inventory, you ensure nothing slips through the cracksA Strong Communicator: You bridge departments with clear, timely communication—aligning Warehouse, Production, Project Management, and Field Service teams to get the job done right the first timeProblem Solver & Coordinator: You think on your feet and take initiative when plans change. You’re comfortable adjusting priorities to meet urgent service needs while maintaining long-term organizationTech-Savvy & Process-Minded: You’re comfortable with service coordination tools and inventory systems—and always looking for ways to streamline processes for better efficiency and visibilityKey Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between the service team and other internal relevant JTS departmentsGenerate quotes & locate parts as needed for Power Generation Parts and Services Secure work request descriptions from service operations coordinators and/or customers and/or field technicians via phone, email and/or via customer database; taking detailed notes of work request; Open service orders, schedule and coordinate field service appointments for repair work Communicate repair requests and give detailed descriptions to the service operations coordinator and/or field technician Locate and source correct parts, to include purchasing parts and/or materials as needed Work with the service operations coordinators to communicate with customer any additional service work or repairs needed that was not initially requested by the customer; Provide accurate cost and estimated repair time for customers; Review service write-ups with customer to verify required work; Ensure that open service orders or repairs are properly completed, documented and then invoiced in a timely manner when necessary Create and track Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) for part manufacturer warranty claims and properly document status; Handle and resolve all escalated customer situations with professionalism and tact Foster positive teamwork interactions with technicians and other coworkers Other job-related responsibilities as assignedQualifications & Experience:

Occasional field service travel is requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years related industry experience required; Power Generation experience and familiarization with power products preferred; Experience reading electrical schematics and engineered drawings is neededExperience working a parts counter, parts or service sales, or service writer considered a plus; Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to demonstrate & communicate said aptitude; Excellent phone skills including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers; Outstanding customer service skills with a keen attention to detail with strong follow throughAbility to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, percentages, and margins; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent time management skills and very self-motivated; Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
