About The JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Executive (Hostess) to join the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Welcomes guests warmly, engages in small talk, and ensures personalized, attentive service, especially for VIPs and regular guests. Manages reservations, special occasions, and guest inquiries following F&B SOPs and booking checklists. Escorts guests to tables, shares relevant information with service staff, and introduces menus and specials appropriately. Maintains detailed guest knowledge, anticipates needs, and ensures privacy, confidentiality, and service continuity across shifts. Answers calls professionally, maintains accurate guest data, and supports inventory, checklists, and daily operational tasks. Attends trainings, handles guest complaints, follows all policies, and upholds Jumeirah’s grooming and service standards.
About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: One or two years of experience in the same role with a strong F&B background in a 5-star luxury property or a standalone/branded restaurant. Proficient in English and a second language (Russian or European languages are desirable). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Micros, and Sevenrooms.
