Start Your Journey as a Strategist, Coach, and FacilitatorAs an Associate Strategist, you’ll join project teams from day one, helping senior leaders tackle challenges that don’t come with easy answers.

You’ll bring excellence in your discipline and develop the core capabilities of a Jump advisor: Strategist: Frame complex challenges, uncover insights, and help create growth playbooks tailored to each company’s future. Coach: Support leaders in gaining clarity and confidence in moments of uncertainty. Facilitator: Contribute to workshops and team experiences that align executives on bold moves. At Jump, you’ll grow quickly, building the skills to guide leaders and teams through high-stakes moments. Some of What You’ll DoAt Jump, no two weeks look the same. Some of what you’ll do includes:

Participate in high-stakes workshops where senior executives align on bold moves. Help design and facilitate experiences that spark breakthrough thinking for teams. Conduct ethnographic interviews and research to uncover key insights. Collaborate with teammates to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations. Translate abstract ideas into artifacts—concept sketches, service design prototypes, and strategic narratives—that bring ideas to life. Contribute to Jump’s thought leadership, helping shape perspectives on future-focused strategy. Develop as a Hybrid ThinkerWe’re looking for craft-driven hybrid thinkers—people who bring depth in one discipline, exposure to a second, and curiosity about a third.

Maybe you studied industrial design and worked on projects where you partnered with strategists and social scientists. Maybe you majored in business and took on roles that exposed you to design thinking and team facilitation. Maybe you studied psychology and contributed to innovation teams exploring customer needs. Wherever you started, you’re ready for a role that challenges you to use it all. The disciplines are: DesignYou can sketch and prototype to make abstract ideas tangible. You create visual systems and artifacts that help others see and align on bold ideas.

Business StrategyYou’ve conducted analysis, contributed to growth plans, or collaborated on strategic frameworks. You synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights. Social ScienceYou’ve designed and conducted ethnographic research, interviews, or fieldwork to uncover critical insights. You translate patterns of human behavior into frameworks that inform strategic decisions. The DetailsLocation: San Mateo, CA (Monday–Thursday in-office). Travel: ~25% for client work and research.
