You’ll bring excellence in your discipline and develop the core capabilities of a Jump advisor: Strategist: Frame complex challenges, uncover insights, and help create growth playbooks tailored to each company’s future. Conduct deep research across industries, markets, and emerging behaviors to uncover bold customer insights. Collaborate with your team to synthesize findings into frameworks and strategic narratives. Analyze trends and data to help identify transformative opportunities for clients. Develop artifacts—concept sketches, prototypes, and thought leadership pieces—to bring abstract ideas to life. Contribute to Jump’s intellectual capital, helping shape ideas that influence how industries think about growth. Learn to present insights and recommendations to clients with clarity and confidence.
Develop as a Hybrid ThinkerWe’re looking for craft-driven hybrid thinkers—people who bring depth in one discipline, exposure to a second, and curiosity about a third. Maybe you studied industrial design and minored in business. Maybe you majored in business and took design thinking courses. Maybe you studied sociology and applied those insights in internships on innovation teams. Wherever you started, you’re ready for a role that challenges you to use it all. The disciplines are: DesignYou can sketch and prototype to make abstract ideas tangible.
You create visual systems and artifacts that help others see and align on bold ideas. Business StrategyYou’ve conducted analysis, built frameworks, or contributed to growth plans in dynamic environments. You synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations. Social ScienceYou’ve designed and executed ethnographic research, interviews, or fieldwork to uncover critical insights. You translate patterns of human behavior into frameworks that inform strategic decisions. The Details📍 Location: San Mateo, CA (Monday–Thursday in-office). ✈️ Travel: ~25% for client work and research. 📆 Experience: Recent graduates or up to 2 years post-undergraduate experience. 🇺🇸 Eligibility: Must have permanent U. S. work authorization.
