Junior Accountant - București

A rapidly expanding company in the automotive distribution sector is seeking a motivated Accountant to join and strengthen its finance team. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers, and is eager to contribute to efficient and robust business processes.This role is hybrid (2 days WFH) after the first three months, based in Baneasa.Your Roles and Responsibilities:Execute core local bookkeeping activities for expense claims, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and diverse accounting transactions.Perform monthly analytical reviews of selected general and analytical accounts.Support and participate actively in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures as guided by the Senior Accountant.Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing statutory tax returns and other statistical reports required by local authorities.Ensure the timely and accurate execution of all bank payments by uploading them promptly in the online banking application.Provide support to internal colleagues regarding the correct submission of expense claims and vehicle mileage log sheets.Ensure rigorous application of the company's accounting processes, procedures, and current accounting standards.Manage the organization and archiving of all accounting, tax documents, and contracts in compliance with legal and internal requirements.Handle ad hoc reporting and special assignments as requested by the superior or required by company needs.What We Are Looking For:University degree in Economics or Finance is mandatory.Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an accounting role.Knowledge of core Accounting principles.Fluency in English (written and spoken).Familiarity with the Navision (Business Central) system is an advantage.What We Offer:Comprehensive private healthcare service (Medicover).Annual performance-based bonus scheme.Meal vouchers.Contact:andreea.ariton@randstad.ro
