This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure financial data integrity and timely reporting.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: FinancingCoordinate all aspects of the vertical loan draw process, including preparation, submission, tracking of draw requests and recording loan transactions.Coordinating model home construction draws and facilitates the transition to permanent financing, maintaining clear documentation and schedules.Maintain strong working relationships with banking institutions and financing partners.Record loan draw transactions accurately and in a timely manner.Reconcile debt schedules to the general ledger and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.LandAssist with land budget maintenance, land work in process and fair market value analysis, ensuring updates and revisions are properly documentedRecord general ledger activity related to land loan draws, cash receipts, and disbursements.Assist with lot purchase process including processing HUD expenses, check wire requests and recording the transaction.Assist with site work payables, budget analysis and maintenance for management services projects.GeneralPrepare and post monthly repetitive journal entries to the general ledger.Act as backup for daily bank account management tasks, including monitoring cash activity, initiating transfers, and ensuring appropriate documentation.Assist department leadership and external auditors by compiling documentation for year-end processes and the annual audit.Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPETENCIES: Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field of studyFive years’ experience in accounting industry preferredFull understanding of all accounting functions Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tablesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAptitude for detail-oriented workSage Intacct software experience a plusCONFIDENTIALITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY:This role carries a high level of accountability, as it involves handling sensitive company information, capital resources, and financial reporting.
