JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Junior AccountantLocation: Dar es Salaam, TanzaniaClient: A Leading Manufacturing Company (Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya)Job SummaryOn behalf of our client, a reputable manufacturing company with its headquarters in Nairobi and a branch in Dar es Salaam, we are seeking to recruit a qualified and proactive Junior Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within the manufacturing setup.Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax laws and coordinate statutory filings.Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation.Utilize ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or Tally) for daily entries and reporting.Perform any other accounting and administrative duties as may be assigned.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA Part I or ACCA Level 2 qualification.At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing or production sector.Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or Tally) and Microsoft Excel.Sound knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws; understanding of Kenyan tax laws will be an added advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.Tanzanian National based in Dar es Salaam, preferably with a passport or a temporary East African Passport.How to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates are invited to apply by filling out the Google Form via the following link: 👉 https://forms.gle/6DvZzu9CZqsA3wAc6Deadline: Saturday, 1st November 2025Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.📍 Note: The position will be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
