As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and driving efficiencies across the accounting function.

In This Role, You’llManage day-to-day preparatory bookkeeping tasksPrepare and execute remittances and paymentsSupport the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with HGB and IFRSCollaborate with internal departments on tax and accounting mattersReconcile invoices and investigate discrepanciesIssue invoices to customers and manage accounts receivableLiaise with the external accounting firm and support audit processesContribute to finance initiatives to help optimize working capital internationallyYour ProfilePrevious experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance—ideally in a startup or fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially under pressureAdvanced skills in ExcelFluent in English; German skills are a strong plusFamiliar with accounting and finance systems such as DATEV, DUO, and expense tools; experience with Salesforce is a plusIdeally familiar with HGB and IFRS reporting standardsPlease note that this position is based in Berlin.
