No matter the role, you’ll always benefit from an environment that encourages and supports you to thrive, grow and connect.We are looking for a passionate Junior Agronomist to join our high-performing team on a full-time basis in Emerald, QLD.About The RoleAs a Junior Agronomist, you will:Work closely with the Senior Agronomist to develop and improve agronomic activities across citrus farming operations.Focus on irrigation, crop timing, and continuous improvement of farm practices.Assist in planning, data collection, and reporting on farm performance and trials.Drive new initiatives and research projects, and be a key member of the agronomy team.Coordinate staff training and development programs focused on best agronomic practices.Foster collaboration with technical staff, industry bodies, and the broader Costa team.Support and implement best practice Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHS&E) systems.What We’re Looking ForRelevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor or Masters in Science, preferably Plant Physiology or Horticulture).Some experience working in orchards or with crops.Advanced analytical thinking and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).Ability to record, interpret, and report on data.Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Strong communication skills and a constructive approach to problem-solving.Willingness to travel between sites as needed.What's in it for you?Learning & Development: Ongoing opportunities for growth and career progression.Team Culture: Be part of a diverse, supportive, and innovative team.Recognition: Regular site activities, rewards, and recognition for outstanding performance.Impact: Play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality produce to customers across Australia.Ready to grow your career with Costa?Apply now with your current resume and cover letter by 23 November 2025.
