Finergreen is a financial advisory boutique specialized in renewable energies and the energy transition. Founded in 2013, the company now operates around the world through 10 offices with around 50 collaborators in total, being Madrid the 2nd largest office within the group.We advise our clients (mostly independent industrials, financial institutions, or utilities) on strategic projects in either equity (M&A, venture or growth capital) or debt (project finance, private placements, LBOs) transactions.The position is based in Madrid where you will join our team as Analyst. You will work in direct contact with the rest of the team on active advisory mandates at all stages.We require collaborators to assume certain levels of responsibility immediately with direct exposure to senior management and clients. It involves meetings and interactions with CEOs, CFOs, or senior executives. This position suits candidates with a hands-on mindset who are seeking a challenging opportunity.Your main tasks will be:Analysis and production activities:Perform financial analysis of projects or companies;Draft marketing materials (teasers, info memos, other memos, etc.);Build financial models, either on Project Finance or M&A transactions;Marketing activitiesParticipate in day-to-day interactions with lenders or investors;Attend meetings and negotiations;ExecutionMonitor and facilitate due diligence processes;Liaise and coordinate with external advisors (legal, technical, accountants etc…);Manage Q&A process between investors and clients;Finergreen activitiesCarry out market research;Draft and review client pitches;Contribute to communications, marketing, or other material for the company.Finergreen is a human-sized company where you will get the chance to work in a young and dynamic environment while taking part in all the aspects of our diverse activity. A master’s degree with a financial background (business or engineering with strong finance also considered) will be positively considered. You have 1–2 years of full-time experience in project finance or M&A, ideally in the infrastructure sector.They will demonstrate the following skills:Dynamism combined with a strong work ethic and a sense of initiative;Strong financial analysis and accounting skills, proven financial modelling skills (Excel);Time management, organizational skills and great reliability;Fluent (written and spoken) in English and Spanish;In addition to the above, we would highly value past experiences related to transactions made in some key countries such as Spain, Portugal or Italy.Conditions and contactsThe position will be offered through a long-term contract, starting in January 2026. The job will be based in Madrid, with occasional travel in Europe.Compensation will be discussed depending on profile and experience. It will include a fixed and a variable part.
