Come as you are and be yourself!About The RoleWe’re looking for a focused professional that is ready to lead by example and roll up their sleeves to get things done, replacing start-up chaos with structure, confidently flipping questions into solutions and working with the team to join us as a Junior Analyst. Key ResponsibilitiesDeepen Existing Customer relationships to drive positive customer engagement, improve profitability, and reduce losses Run credit, pricing and marketing strategies to achieve this goal Deliver these strategies by using Python/R/SQL, to manipulate and analyse data on a day to day basis, working at the cutting edge of analytical and statistical techniques. Promote a test-and-learn approach, constantly challenging existing strategies and processes to find better outcomes. Providing the business with data-based insight and recommendations for changes and improvements, and see those all the way through to implementation on a wide range of things including: credit limit management, promotional campaigns, customer life cycle management including support to collections strategies/operations, as well as general portfolio management. Utilise big data across multiple sources to enhance our relationships with our customers. Work closely with colleagues across the Company to provide insightful analytics on ad-hoc queries and deliver a wide range of projects. About YouThe successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK and meet the following criteria:Required Skills & ExperienceA degree in a quantitative field like Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Computer Science 1+ years of experience in an analytical role, which could be in sectors different from Financial services; Lending or Risk experience is a bonus, Credit Card experience is a plus Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data Good coding skills, and knowledge of databases including MySQL and AWS desirable. The ability to prioritise workloads and manage time effectively. Ability to interact and work alongside stakeholders internally and externally to the core team DesiredYou are comfortable using a direct language and speaking in a straightforward yet respectful manner to save people time and simplify everyone’s workday. You care deeply about helping customers manage their money in a smarter way and want to make a tangible impact in the consumer finance industry, by applying innovative technology and processes. You are execution focused and love rolling up your sleeves to get it done - you are hands-on, proactive and take solutions / process orientated approach to your work.
