For more information, visit https://www.bitdefender.comJob Description:As an Infrastructure Junior Automation Engineer, you will be part of the IT Automation Team, inside the IT Operations Department of Bitdefender and you will be reporting directly to the Head of IT Operations.You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure team and with Application Teams to ensure the configuration management across our server and application landscape.You will be building, operating, maintaining, and implementing DevOps solutions. Looking at your personal qualities, you are proactive and enjoy testing, automating, and optimizing solutions using new technologies. You are passionate about learning new things and have the necessary drive to deliver scalable, secure, and stable automation solutions.Requirements:Experience with any scripting language preferably Python / Ruby / BashKnowledge of DevOps tools including - JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Ansible, Foreman, Puppet, JenkinsExperience with GIT and GIT flowsExperience with Linux OS (Installation / Configuration / Troubleshooting)Package build and install, e.g., RPMsKnowledge about Networking technologies (Troubleshooting, Load Balancing, TCP / IP, Routing)Knowledge about Containerization and orchestration technologies (preferably Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of Virtualization tools and orchestrators especially Linux based like kvm, OpenStack, OpenNebula, Proxmox is a plusKnowledge about working with Linux based environments and cloud-based infrastructure services (such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform)Provision of all stage of systems pre-production and production environmentsProvision and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure datacenters using infrastructure as code
