(EQ) is a FINMA-regulated, leading Swiss impact asset manager dedicated to a world where investments generate financial, social, environmental, and economic returns.EQ currently manages USD 750 million in assets across Microfinance (Private Debt), Access to Energy / Clean Cooking, and listed emerging market bonds.The team consists of over 65 members, speaking more than 21 languages and representing 14 nationalities. Enabling Qapital is moving money to meaning! Role SummaryAs part of our Business Development team, we are seeking a dedicated Junior Business Development Representative to join us at the EQ Zurich office. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Senior Management and the Business Development team, actively supporting sales initiatives and strategic growth efforts.You will provide comprehensive support to the Sales Team across a diverse range of activities, including but not limited to: Drive Market Expansion: Support the Senior Sales Team in strengthening our presence in the Swiss market and accelerating growth in other strategic target markets.Create Compelling Materials: Develop high-quality marketing collateral and craft clear, engaging investor communications.Manage Outreach: Draft and send professional emails on behalf of sales team members to ensure timely and effective client engagement.Deliver Insightful Research: Conduct in-depth market and investor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.Optimize Reporting & Data: Assist with preparing reports and managing complex datasets in Excel to support decision-making.Maintain CRM Accuracy: Ensure CRM entries and records are consistently updated and organized for seamless sales operations. In addition, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of your own investor portfolio and progressively advance into a more senior Business Development role as you grow within the company.Who you areWe are looking for a highly motivated candidate with working experience in business development in the financial services industry and compelling personal background.Key attributes and skills you bring to this exciting role are: 1. Advanced Education: Master’s degree from a recognized university.2. Proven Expertise: Demonstrated success in sales and business development within asset management, wealth management, or financial services.Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal skills in German and English, with the ability to operate confidently in a professional environment.Analytical & Organized: Highly resourceful, detail-oriented, and adept at conducting comprehensive research.Technical Proficiency: Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Digital Savvy: Skilled in online research across platforms such as websites, event listings, LinkedIn, and impact-related news sources.Passion for Impact: Genuine interest and commitment to impact investing principles and practices.Entrepreneurial Mindset: Dynamic, adaptable, and driven personality with a strong business-oriented spirit.Whom you will work withYou will work in close partnership with the Business Development team as well as the Co-Founders and Managing Partners of Enabling Qapital.
