Junior CAD Designer

About the roleWe are looking for a Junior CAD technician to join our design team. This role is open to both recent graduates starting their career and experienced designers seeking their next step.This is an excellent opportunity to apply and grow your technical design skills, gain exposure to a wide variety of retail projects, in a supportive, retail design-led environment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with proficient CAD skills who can support the Store Design team to ensure drawings for existing and future stores are both accurate, formatted and filed for ease of access both internally and for international partners.You will be...File and record all project technical and drawing documentation.Collaborating with architects and landlords to ensure design scheme accuracy.Reviewing and updating drawings as neededConverting PDF & plans into AutoCad formatsCreating accurate Fire and Hazard plans and for submission to the relevantauthoritiesUpdating layouts in line with information from our surveyors, PM’s and Store designTeamMaintaining up-to-date store plans across the business and on organisations serversDrawing and detailing retail designs in plan & elevation using Autocad to localstandards.Understand and work within budgets and time schedules to ensure information isavailable in CAD and PDF formats for use both UK and US teams.Your TalentProficient in AutoCAD and experience using software such as Revit & Sketch up etcExcellent attention to detail when creating drawings and when checking colleagues’work for accuracy and quality.Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other CAD technicians and projectstakeholders.Good organisational and time management skills to ensure work is delivered toproject deadlines.Knowledge of drafting and design principlesA good understanding of UK building regulations + retail experience would beadvantageousHighly accurate with excellent attention to detailStrong communication and organisational skillsConfident working at pace and managing multiple tasks and deadlinesSelf-motivated and proactive with a hands-on approachAbout usWe are the specialist retailer of fashion-inspired signature lingerie, sleepwear, athleisure and swim, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.
