We serve clients domestically and globally, aiming to redefine industry standards by seamlessly blending tradition with modernity.Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Chemist to join our production team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and consistency of our cosmetics and detergent products. You will support our manufacturing operations through hands-on quality control, assistance in research and development, and meticulous documentation, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of safety and excellence.Key Responsibilities:· Quality Control & Assurance: · Conduct routine physical and chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products (cosmetics and detergents) to ensure compliance with established specifications.· Monitor production processes closely, identifying and reporting any deviations from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or quality standards. · Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized working environment.· Production Support: · Assist in the formulation and scaling up of new products, from lab trials to full-scale production batches. · Prepare and standardize chemical solutions and reagents required for daily testing and production. · Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot quality issues on the factory floor.· Documentation & Reporting: · Accurately record all test results, observations, and production data in laboratory logs and reports. · Prepare certificates of analysis for finished goods. · Report findings and quality metrics to the Production and Quality Assurance Managers.Required Qualifications:· Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or a related field.· Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or production environment (internships may be considered).· Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of raw materials, formulations, and quality control processes for cosmetics or detergents.· Documentation Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent laboratory and documentation practices.Preferred Skills & Attributes:· Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Excel and Word.· Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with production and management teams.· A proactive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and work hands-on in a fast-paced production environment.· Strong work ethic, reliability, and a problem-solving mindset.· Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.What We Offer:· A competitive salary and benefits package.· The opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a pioneering manufacturing facility.· A collaborative and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.· The chance to be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and excellence.
