From strategy to execution, you will contribute to projects that improve both bottom-line business outcomes but also build organizational resilience, reach sustainability goals and help Procurement create value for the business beyond just cost.Business challenges we tackle together span across areas such as:Designing sourcing strategies and operating models Improving supplier relationship and risk management Driving Digital Procurement Transformations Navigating client questions on innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI in Procurement Delivering savings, sustainability, innovation and resilience across the supply base of an organizationHow do you do this?As a Junior Consultant in our Sourcing & Procurement practice, you will:Support in delivery of projects for industry-leading clients in and outside the Netherlands Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of Deloitte colleagues and clients, with a high level of integrity; Commit to challenging the status quo to deliver (digital) solutions for complex challenges; Share your entrepreneurial spirit through ideas to support the growth of our leading Sourcing & Procurement practice; Continuously develop yourself by emerging yourself in extensive learning & training opportunities including on-the-job training. Projects differ greatly in content and industry. Within various organizations – from consumer goods to energy, chemicals, manufacturing, humanitarian and retail - you will work on, for example, strategic assessments of the state of the procurement organization to larger transformation projects that can last several months. You need the following qualifications for the position of Junior Consultant Supply Chain & Network Operations:a WO university master's degree with strong academic grades; demonstrated interest in consulting, supply chain and procurement, which becomes clear from your studies, internships and/or work experience; extracurricular activities next to your studies (e.g. board, voluntary work, or internship).
