Junior Data Engineer (Qlik Stack)

WITSIDE is one of the leading providers of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Performance Management in Greece.We offer a flexible and exciting work environment and plenty of opportunities for you to grow as a professional and as an individual.We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer (Qlik Stack) who is eager to build a career in data management and gradually take ownership of data ingestion, data transformation and orchestration of data pipelines using Qlik Stack tools.In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with Change Data Capture (CDC), Data Integration from multiple sources, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses design, working alongside experienced engineers on enterprise data projects.The Qlik Stack you will work with includes:-         Qlik Replicate -         Qlik Compose-         Qlik Talend Cloud / On-PremThe role entails:·      Take ownership of the development, configuration, and maintenance of data pipelines using Qlik Replicate and Qlik Compose·      Design and manage end-to-end data flows for replication, transformation, and orchestration within the Qlik Data Integration environment·      Support additional integration activities using Qlik Talend Cloud / On-Prem, in collaboration with other team members·      Monitor and optimize existing data processes to ensure reliability, performance, and data quality·      Collaborate closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders to ensure consistent and accurate data delivery·      Maintain proper documentation and version control practices (e.g., Git)·      Continuously explore and apply new features and automation capabilities in the Qlik ecosystemQualifications and Experience·      Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field·      1–2 years of experience in data integration, ETL, or database development·      Solid understanding of SQL and data transformation concepts·      Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail·      Good written and verbal communication skills·      Eagerness to learn new technologies and apply best practices·      Ability to work methodically and deliver within structured processes and timelinesNot Required, but Great to Have·      Familiarity with Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, or Qlik Talend·      Understanding relational databases and SQL code (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)·      Experience in data modeling or data warehousing concepts·      Exposure to BI tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI·      Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)·      Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)·      Certifications or online courses related to data integration or Qlik toolsWITSIDE offers a dynamic working environment and projects that attract top talent in data engineering and analytics.You will work on innovative data integration solutions for large enterprises and receive continuous guidance and mentoring from experienced team members.We provide continuous training in modern data engineering technologies, along with a dedicated training budget to support your professional development.We also offer a competitive compensation package, benefits, and a flexible work environment with hybrid options.Join WITSIDE, a company recognized as a “Best Place to Work”, where culture, growth, and employee satisfaction are top priorities!
