We work with our clients from the outset to generate sustainable, whole of life-cycle outcomes for communities and the natural environment.About The RoleADG currently have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Junior Civil Draftsperson, to join our Darwin team. You will work closely with the civil team and quickly gain exposure to projects/clients locally as well as a variety of projects across the region and wider Australia.The purpose of this position will be undertaking detailed drafting tasks of broad scope and complexity to meet client requirements and company expectations, with minimal supervision and guidance.You will also produce quality detail drawings in AutoCAD and other software programs in use within the office that meet ADG standards and assist Engineers and Designers in the production of contract documentation.We Are Looking For Someone With2+ years demonstrated experience in the documentation of road and drainage projects for local and state authorities using AutoCAD.Knowledge of 12d and ability to process design outputs is advantageousExperience in documentation of earthworks, roadworks, sewer and water infrastructure and building based projects is preferredKnowledge of drafting requirements for local authorities and government departments.Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.Ability to interpret and communicate information of a more complex nature.Ability to work in a team environment.Self-motivated working style.Customer service orientation.Experience in production of detailed engineering drawings commensurate with level of duties.Ability to adhere to production schedules.What's in it for you?ADG values your professional development and will offer you exposure across all facets of design and project delivery to expand your skillset.
