With over 45 years of experience, this team delivers exceptional results in fit-outs, construction, and furniture with clients across residential, hospitality, commercial, and leisure sectors.You’ll support senior estimators, helping to secure exciting projects by providing accurate and timely cost information. If you’re organised, analytical, and ready to grow, this is the role for you!The Role:As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with our project and management teams, assisting in the preparation of project costings and tenders. Your core duties will include:Assisting with Tender Preparation: Supporting the senior estimating team in compiling detailed, accurate, and competitive tender submissions.Quantity Take-offs: Performing accurate quantity take-offs from architectural drawings and specifications.Supplier Liaison: Obtaining quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors, comparing costs, and negotiating best value.Cost Analysis: Breaking down project requirements and specifications to identify all necessary costs, including materials, labour, and sub-contractor services.Documentation: Organising and maintaining accurate records of quotes, costs, and tender documents.Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the estimating and commercial team.You’ll need:Previous experience in an office environment, ideally within construction, fit-out, or a related field, is beneficial but not essential. A degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Quantity Surveying) is a plus.Strong numerical and analytical skills with an excellent eye for detail.IT proficient, competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.Highly organised, self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.Take the next step in your estimating career!
