Ignition brings people, (including experts from our organisation, alliance partners and our clients), together with relevant insights and technology in a very efficient, collaborative and creative way to accelerate transformation.What will you be doing?The stakes are often high for the clients we support, and you – along with the Ignition team and a range of subject matter experts from across KPMG – will support our client’s transformation, whether the focus is digital transformation, the creation of a new vision, strategy or business model, or improving end to end customer experience.To deliver this requires a team of diverse experience and expertise. We want to work with the most curious and capable individuals so that we can continually enrich our ability to respond to an ever-changing world.We work as one team across our London and Manchester centres - this role will be primarily based in Manchester, with the regular opportunity to work in both centres.The great thing about working in Ignition is the amount you learn – when you’re supporting clients through these challenges, you’re getting exposure to what motivates executive teams and the KPMG methodology behind resolving those problems – as well as more practical knowledge; how to organise and support client events, how to create visually compelling content, how to create an ‘experience’ that enables multiple participants to engage and align on a new vision. And you will be learning in a broader sense what Ignition – and KPMG – can achieve for clients.As an Experience Producer, you get this wealth of professional exposure along with a unique opportunity to hone creative and innovative skills in a live-events environment.Collating and formatting event contentDesigning and setting up work assignmentsHandling requirements of the physical space to meet the needs of the eventContributing creatively to deliver immersive and innovative eventsOperating technologies to enhance the event experienceBuilding knowledge of the Ignition Centre to understand how to maximise its potential in enhancing client experience from both an analogue and digital perspectiveDeveloping an understanding of event delivery across the Ignition delivery roles and Ignition servicesCo-ordinating, preparing and setting up the Ignition environment (hybrid/virtual or face to face) within the centre for client and internal collaboration events/ interactions, building expertise in effective environment set up. Taking ownership for key tasks as requiredSupporting daily issue resolution and escalation for the Ignition CentreContributing to the wider Ignition venture bringing innovation and new approachesBuilding and maintaining collaborative working relationships with KPMG colleagues and clientsMaintaining the Ignition Centre to ensure it is always client readySupporting other members of Ignition team with delivery of ad hoc projectsWhat will you need to do it?Full training will be provided as part of the onboarding process. In addition you will have an interest in developing or demonstrate:Ability and agility to learn quickly and deliver in a fast paced, high-pressured environmentStrong proactivity and can-do attitude with a desire to develop an understanding of Ignition Services and associated skillsNatural problem solver who can approach problems in different ways and will explore multiple potential solutionsGood interpersonal skills, good communication and team-working skillsAbility to remain calm under pressure in client ‘live-event’ scenariosAttention to detail and ability to react quickly and professionally to constantly changing requirements and demandsSelf-motivation and the ability to support with small projects and drive them to completion with support and to agreed timeframesWorking knowledge across all MS Office packages, specifically PowerPoint and ExcelSkills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:Curiosity about virtual collaboration tools such as Miro, CoCreate, MS Teams, Zoom, Mural is desirableOur Locations:This roles will be based from our offices in Canary Wharf, LondonWith 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options, but you will be required to attend meetings in the offices above as required.
