Junior Fullstack Engineer

As a Junior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the development and maintenance of our fullstack applications. You will work closely with senior engineers in an Agile environment, contributing to feature development, testing, and deployment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, basic experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Next.js, and a passion for learning and problem-solving. You will be working at night shift: 3am - 12pm.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in building fullstack applications using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Next.jsDevelop and maintain basic REST APIs to support application functionalitySupport feature development, including coding, testing, and debuggingParticipate in the deployment process, ensuring smooth and efficient releasesCollaborate with the team in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesLearn and support Docker/Kubernetes deployments, gaining experience with containerization and orchestration technologiesContribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code qualityTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working collaboratively with the team to find solutionsDocument code and technical processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharingRequired Skills & Qualifications6 months - 2 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScriptBasic experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Next.jsUnderstanding of web fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptFamiliarity with database concepts and SQLFamiliarity with Git and basic CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions is a plus)Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on challenging tasksStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood English reading and writing skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to work at night shift: 3am - 12pm
