Junior Fund Controller Our client is a boutique investment manager focused on private credit that values integrity, teamwork and meritocracy at every level. The company firm is entering an exciting new phase of independence and expansion in Luxembourg and is therefore looking to hire a junior fund controller who will coordinate and oversee external service providers. You will take responsibility for the month‑end financial close and NAV process for European funds, while overseeing the Luxembourg entity’s accounting, banking, SPV administration, and KYC activities. This position provides strong visibility across the business and offers clear potential to progress toward senior roles in accounting or operations within a dynamic and expanding investment management environment. Your ResponsibilitiesOversee accurate and timely net asset values (NAVs) for funds domiciled in Luxembourg, ensuring alignment of valuations with external custodians, investors, and internal systems.Manage statutory accounting records, monitor intra-group financial transactions and balances, and assist with the preparation and review of compliance documentation for regulatory authorities and auditors.Oversee daily cash operations, invoice processing, correspondence handling, and documentation management compliant with relevant regulations.Monitor and ensure the operational and regulatory compliance of special purpose entities within the investment portfolio.Liaise with external service providers such as custodians, asset managers, tax specialists, legal advisors, and administrators to maintain service quality and adherence to agreements.Support investor due diligence processes related to know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, and generate various regulatory and investor reports as needed.Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies through process improvements and technology adoption, particularly automating workflows to shorten closing cycles and minimize errors.Your profile:Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, complemented by a professional accounting qualificationTypically 2 to 4 years of post-qualification experience within audit, fund administration, or private investment environments, preferably with exposure to alternative credit or distressed asset strategies.Proficiency in English is mandatory.
