These specialists are organized into distinct groups:Job DescriptionDesign support: Assist in the design of foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and ground improvement systems. Perform geotechnical calculations (bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability).Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze lab and field data to determine soil properties and geotechnical parameters. Contribute to geotechnical reports, including interpretations and design recommendations.Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements; collaborate with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of blueprints.Modifying and Optimizing Designs: Edit and revise design documents to reflect changes in design or project scope; optimize designs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Quality Control: Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure high accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations; maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access and reference.Interpreting project briefs and meeting with Team Leader, Project Manager, engineers, and clients (if needed) to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.Visiting sites (if needed) to gather information and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.Site investigations: Assist in planning and executing geotechnical fieldwork.Communicating potential design issues to engineers and Team Leader/Project Manager.QualificationsEDUCATIONBachelor’s Degree from a reputable university in civil engineering or any relevant fieldSkillsHaving a solid understanding of design principles.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of industry standards, national code and regulationsA completed apprenticeship would be advantageous.Superb work ethic and ability to accept feedback.Willing to work overtime when required.ExperienceAt least 3+ years of relevant experience is requiredExperience in an engineering consultant firm and contractor.Experience abroad is a strong advantageLANGUAGESIndonesia and English: it is required to understand reading, writing, and speaking.Other RequirementsTeam-oriented and client-oriented with clear, positive and accountable attitudeFlexibility to handle tight deadlines, manage priorities, and travel to domestic and SEANecessary to be methodical and have an attention to detail but staying open and positiveCompensationCompensation will be adapted to experience and education.
