Over 8,000 employees constantly take on new perspectives to identify opportunities and turn them into inspiring, innovative solutions for tomorrow’s demands.About The JobAs a Junior GL & Tax Accountant, you will assist the Corporate Controller to ensure company tax accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.This role is based in our office in Warsaw and is part of the Global Finance Team, reporting directly to the Team Leader Accounting and Reporting.Your tasksReconcile of income tax general ledger accountsReconcile of Tax Basis fixed assets on a quarterly and annual basisAssist with the collection of accounting data necessary for tax returns and provisionsSupport the deployment of accounting policies and procedures to keep up with company needs and requirements of the group maintaining legal tax complianceMaintain US Group Board booksSupport the Controller in managing budget preparation, budget proposals, and prepare supporting documentation and justificationAssist with the coordination of documentation required for transfer pricing studiesPrepare and submit for approval any changes in banking authorizationsPrepare and reconcile the daily cash report for all US CompaniesReconcile banking transactions to balances in TM5Code, allocate, log, redact (legal only), and submit legal, insurance, audit, tax, and other invoices for approvalTrack daily credit card fees charged to customers in banking systemConsolidate information necessary for annual insurance renewalsAssist with preparation of year-end tax reportingPrepare annual property and business taxes for all US CompaniesLearn sales tax processing as a backupRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting (or currently pursuing final year of studies)0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or taxExposure to general ledger reconciliations or financial reporting is beneficialWillingness to work between 11am and 7pm due to close cooperation with colleagues in the USStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyFluent in English – both written and verbal communication is essentialBasic proficiency in Microsoft ExcelWhat we offer youContract of employement (umowa o pracę)A chance for professional developmentWork in an international environment where English is the main language of communicationOffice location – quick and convenient public transport, near Warsaw West StationHome office options up to 60% (Mandatory minimum of 2 days per week in Warsaw office)Social benefits such as: Benefit platform Medicover private medical care Multisport Card Life insurance Discount for Franke products E-learning platform Co-financing of glasses Co-financing of 14-day holidays (’Wczasy pod gruszą’)Contact detailsWe are looking forward to the first contact with you.
