Check out this role and see if you’re a good match!Your territoryAs part of our Factory & Tools team, you will:Help build and evolve the tools that power our Firmware development and factory workflows - turning ideas into reliable, day-to-day solutionsSupport the product owner with discovery and prioritization, making sure each tool solves real problems for our teamsCollaborate with external partners (e.g., on the Factory Test Tool) to keep production lines running smoothlyTrack and analyze KPIs to spot bottlenecks and help implement data-driven improvementsGrow our hardware-in-the-loop setup for Firmware CI/CD, trying creative test approaches to boost Firmware qualityBuild and maintain test infrastructure that validates tracker performance, streamlines processes, and lifts Firmware reliabilityCollaborate with the Firmware, Backend, Tech Support, and QA teams - and gradually take ownership of your own projectsBring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next levelYour profileKey requirements:Basic proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for integration, automation, and data handlingStrong foundational problem-solving skills across the stack - from hardware to firmware and factory test softwareBasic grasp of agile practices, Git, code reviews, and software qualityFamiliarity with C++ and CI/CD systems is a plusUnderstanding of manufacturing processes is a plusGood English skillsValid work permit for AustriaDoes this sound like you?A self-starter with strong attention to detail and a deep curiosity for hardware and gadgetsEngaged, hands-on, and ready to take initiativeAn effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative environmentPassionate about technology, especially IoTExcited to work in Austria alongside an outstanding team
