Job Description
Role OverviewWe are looking for an Health and Safety Assistant to join our clients team in Dublin. This role supports the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team to deliver health and safety acrossprojects. You will be responsible for providing support to project areas and teams, using established technical capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the implementation of business health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards.Assisting teams with audits for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and other applicable standards.Supporting the creation and coordination of inspection and audit schedules.Carrying out health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) inspections and supporting audits.Collaborating on the development of new standards aligned with corporate requirements.Supporting analysis of results from reporting, audits, corrective actions, operations reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).Assisting with identifying gaps for improvement and helping to develop mitigation plans.Developing working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.Skills & Experience RequiredDigitally savvy.Experience working in an HSW role and a strong interest in the industry.Good organisational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work to deadlines.Ability to build strong working relationships.Proactive, solution-focused and able to use own initiative.Self-starter, collaborative approach.Health and safety qualification, e.g. IOSH Managing Safely Level 2 UK (or equivalent).DesirableAwareness of HSW legislation, management systems, inspections, and risk assessments.Working towards or holding a Level 3 Qualification in Safety Management, e.g. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
